Military commander in Giants Brigade killed in missile strike in Taiz

SANAA, Oct. 06 (YPA) – A military commander Abdul Majid Muharraq, leader of the 1st Battalion in the 11th Giants (Amaliqa) Brigade, was killed with a number of his companions, as a result of a missile strike by Sana’a forces during recent operations, a military source in Sana’a forces reported.

The source indicated that the strikes have instilled fear among the Saudi-backed forces’ commanders, considering their presence in open areas easy to monitor and target with missiles and drones.

The Saba News Agency in Sana’a quoted a military source as saying that the forces carried out more than 20 missile and drone strikes targeting Saudi-backed forces between Ras al-Ara and al-Saqiya, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries, the burning of vehicles, and the transfer of the wounded to hospitals in Aden and Lahj.

The source also confirmed the continued field advance in the districts of Taiz, considering what the coalition channels are circulating as victories to be fake news.
