Saudi artillery shells border areas in Saada, Northern Yemen

SAADA, Aug. 18 (YPA) – Saudi forces fired artillery shells at residential areas in the Saada Governorate in northern Yemen on Tuesday, according to a local security source.

The source stated that artillery shelling struck populated villages in the Ghafira area of Al-Dhahir District, as well as the Ghawr Al-Mashwat area in Ghamr District.

This follows earlier shelling targeting residential villages in the Al-Shawariq area of the border district of Razih.

On Sunday, Saudi forces conducted intensive bombardments affecting villages, roads, and farmland across the border districts of Shada, Razih, and Ghamr.

Border areas in Saada Governorate experience frequent Saudi rocket and artillery strikes, resulting in civilian casualties and damage to residential properties and farmland.
