Sanaa FM warns Saudi Arabia of inclusive escalation over continued blockade

SANAA, Aug. 05 (YPA) – Yemen’s Sanaa-based Foreign Ministry warned on Wednesday that any Saudi move to escalate the situation would be met with a broad retaliatory escalation, cautioning that Riyadh would be unable to bear the consequences.

In a statement, the ministry said the blockade for blockade equation had become an established reality after all other options to secure Yemen’s legitimate rights had been exhausted.

The statement added that, despite Saudi Arabia’s symbolic diplomatic gestures, the free international community recognizes the legitimacy of Yemen’s position, and urged Riyadh to pursue a peaceful path, describing it as the safest and least costly option.
