Zionist settlers burn 3 vehicles, sever power lines south of Nablus

NABLUS, Aug. 04 (YPA) – Zionist settlers torched three Palestinian vehicles and severed electricity poles south of Nablus early Tuesday during an attack on the area, according to local sources.

Local sources reported that settlers attacked a residential building situated between the villages of Talfit and Jalud, setting fire to three vehicles parked in front of the building while attempting to storm the premises.

In a separate incident in the Madama area, south of Nablus, Zionist settlers cut down electricity poles for the second time in a week. The action damaged the local power grid and caused blackouts in parts of the community.

According to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Israeli occupation forces and settlers carried out a total of 2,256 attacks in the occupied West Bank during July, including 798 incidents perpetrated by settlers.

The commission noted that armed settler attacks resulted in the deaths of seven Palestinians during July in the Nablus and Ramallah governorates. Additionally, Zionist settlers conducted 440 attacks targeting property, which involved land bulldozing and the destruction, uprooting, or poisoning of 5,027 trees, including 3,241 olive trees.
