Tehran threatens massive retaliation, warning entire region will be driven back to “stone age” if Iran is struck

TEHRAN, Aug. 01 (YPA) – Iran issued a severe warning on Saturday, vowing a broad and devastating response should it face any military strike, and asserting that any attack would lead to unprecedented repercussions across the entire region.

In this context, Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, stated, “If any strike is launched against Iran, it will return the entire region to the Stone Age.”

Writing on the X platform, Rezaei added, “They believe that within two days, while the market is closed, they can deliver a swift strike to us and force Iran to surrender; an illusion Netanyahu whispered to Trump.”

Addressing his country’s enemies, he concluded, “If a strike is aimed at Iran, we will return the entire region and its facilities to the Stone Age. It is in your best interest not to commit such a folly.”
