Two Palestinians killed, others injured in Israeli strikes in Gaza, Khan Younes

GAZA, July 30 (YPA) – Two Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Wednesday evening in Israeli drone strikes targeting civilians in Gaza City and Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported, citing medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital.

They announced that an Israeli combat drone struck passersby near the intersection of Ahmed Abdel Aziz Street and Abdel Qader al-Husseini Street in the Rimal neighborhood, claiming the life of a civilian and injuring several others.

In the southern genocide-stricken Strip, medical sources at Nasser Hospital confirmed that the body of a slain civilian and several casualties arrived at the hospital following a combat drone strike that targeted a group of civilians near Street 5 in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis.

“Israel” has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since 7 October 2023, killing 73,335 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 174,052 others. It has destroyed 90% of the Strip’s infrastructure, with the cost of Gaza reconstruction estimated at $70 billion.

Since the Gaza ceasefire agreement went into effect on October 11, 2025, Israel has killed 1,209 Palestinians and injured 3,943 others. The bodies of at least 803 slain Palestinians have been recovered during the same period.
