Yemeni forces strike Saudi oil tanker NCC GHAZAL for violating maritime blockade

SANAA, July 28 (YPA) – Yemen’s Armed Forces (Sana’a forces) carried out a missile attack on Monday targeting the Saudi oil tanker NCC GHAZAL for violating the maritime blockade imposed on the Saudi enemy.

“We targeted the Saudi oil tanker NCC GHAZAL for violating the maritime blockade imposed on the Saudi enemy,” Spokesman for Sanaa’s Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, said in a brief statement on X.

نفذت القوات المسلحة اليمنية عملية عسكرية استهدفت سفينة(NCC GHAZAL) النفطية السعودية لخرقها قرار حظر الملاحة البحرية المفروض على العدو السعودي ورفضها النداءات التحذيرية وذلك بعدد من الصواريخ الباليستية وتم إجبارها على التراجع والعودة بفضل الله.

He explained that the Saudi vessel was targeted after ignoring repeated warnings. It was engaged with several ballistic missiles and forced to turn back.

The Brigadier General reaffirmed that the Yemeni armed forces will continue enforcing the blockade under the equation of “blockade for blockade” and “comprehensive escalation for comprehensive escalation.”
