Ambrey issues warning over Saudi-linked shipping

LONDON, July 21 (YPA) – British maritime security company Ambrey has issued a new warning over Saudi-linked shipping, saying vessels flying the Saudi flag or owned or operated by Saudi entities now face a high risk of Yemeni attacks.

The company also warned that ships calling at Saudi ports face an elevated threat while transiting the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

Ambrey urged shipping companies to review their vessels’ affiliations in line with Yemeni targeting patterns and to reassess transit operations in high-risk maritime areas.
