Araqchi: Some of Iran’s frozen assets released

TEHRAN, June 22 (YPA) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi announced that part of Iran’s frozen assets has been released, saying the move came as a result of “tireless mediation efforts” by Pakistan and Qatar during recent negotiations with Washington.

Tireless Pakistani and Qatari mediation has delivered major progress to end Lebanon War. Oil and petrochem exports are waived, blockade lifted, some frozen assets released, and major reconstruction & development plan launched for Iran, Araqchi wrote in a post on X early Monday.

However, he emphasized the need for the successful implementation of a ceasefire in Lebanon as part of the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the US.
