Sanaa forces issue second military warnings to Saudi oil facility workers, airlines

SANAA, Oct. 13 (YPA) – Yemen’s Sanaa-based armed forces issued a second military statement within less than an hour on Tuesday, renewing their warning to all experts, engineers and workers at Saudi oil facilities to stay away from locations considered targets by the armed forces, whether previously targeted or not, to avoid putting their lives at risk.

In a statement, military spokesman Brag. Gen. Yahya Sarie, said the forces also renewed their warning to airlines operating in the airspace and at airports previously identified in their statements, as well as to travelers and personnel working at those facilities.

Earlier on Tuesday, Sanaa forces warned Saudi Arabia that any attacks on the Yemeni capital would be met with a harsh and painful response in Riyadh.

The warning followed Saudi Arabia’s announcement that it would target sites in Sanaa, specifically the Yemen Petroleum Company and the central Al-Sabaha power station.
