Five killed, 43 wounded in fresh Israeli offensive on Gaza

GAZA, June 20 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Saturday that the death toll from the continued Israeli aggression has reached 73,023 martyred, with 173,316 injured, since October 7, 2023.

In its daily update on casualties from the ongoing conflict, the ministry reported that Gaza hospitals received five new fatalities and 43 injuries over the past 48 hours.

It also stated that since the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of casualties has reached 1,012 killed and 3,208 wounded, while 784 bodies have been recovered.

The ministry added that a number of victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them.
