LONDON, June 15 (YPA) – The UK Court of Appeal upheld the decision to ban the Palestine Action group, which organizes protests against companies doing business with Israel, and described the designation as “lawful.”
The ruling came after the UK Home Office appealed a previous High Court decision that deemed the group not to be a terrorist organization.
The presiding judge, Sue Carr, declared the Home Office’s decision to designate Palestine Action as a proscribed organization to be lawful.
Following the ruling, pro-Palestinian demonstrators who had gathered outside the court expressed their disappointment with the decision.
