Israeli occupation artillery bombards areas in Southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Sept. 14 (YPA) –  Israeli occupation forces launched artillery shelling on areas in southern Lebanon, on Monday, coinciding with a sweep using machine guns.

 

The National News Agency reported that the outskirts of the Deir neighborhood in Nabatieh al-Fawqa were subjected to intermittent artillery shelling this morning, and occupation forces also carried out a sweep using machine guns towards the town of Beit Yahoun in the Bint Jbeil district.

 

In addition, the occupation artillery targeted the outskirts of the town of Haddatha in southern Lebanon last night.

 

The occupation continues to escalate its aggression against Lebanon since March 2, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, cities, and civilian infrastructure, resulting in thousands of martyrs and wounded, and the displacement of approximately 1.5 million citizens

 

It should be noted that on June 18, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced an electronically signed memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran that included a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon. However, the occupying forces continue to commit daily violations of the agreement.
