Israeli occupation continues its violations in southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, June 15 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued their violations across towns and villages in southern Lebanon since the early hours of Monday, breaching the memorandum of understanding announced yesterday by the United States and Iran to end the war on all fronts, including Lebanon.

Occupation warplanes and drones carried out airstrikes targeting the towns of Majdal Zoun and Kfar Tebnit, coinciding with heavy and concentrated artillery shelling on the city of Nabatieh, Kfar Remen, and Nabatieh al-Fawqa. The aggression also included bombings carried out by the occupation in the towns of Khiam and Markaba, alongside the detonation of a booby-trapped drone in the town of Haris, Bint Jbeil district.

These ongoing assaults and violations of the agreement come at a time when Iran emphasizes the unity of fronts, underscores the necessity for any agreement to include ending the war on Lebanon, and maintains its steadfast equation: “Either the war stops in both Iran and Lebanon together, or it does not stop in either country.”
