BEIRUT, June 12 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued air and artillery operations in southern Lebanon on Friday.
According to Lebanese media reports, the Israeli attacks came amid ongoing aggression and violations of the ceasefire arrangements.
Lebanon’s National News Agency said that several areas in the south were targeted by Israeli strikes.
Earlier, the occupation’s warplanes carried out air raids on the town of Jibchit and the outskirts of Balat in the Marjayoun district.
The agency also reported an airstrike in the area of Wadi Dibbine, while Israeli forces were said to have conducted a nighttime demolition and bombardment operation in the town of Khiam.
The reported attacks come despite a ceasefire agreement that took effect earlier this year.
Lebanese officials and media outlets have repeatedly accused Israeli occupation of breaching the agreement through continued military operations in southern Lebanon.
