SANAA, May 15 (YPA) – Gold prices in Yemeni markets hit a new record low on Friday, continuing a gradual decline that began earlier this week in both Sanaa and Aden.
In the capital, Sanaa, the selling price of a gold sovereign dropped to 547,000 YER (a decrease of 9,000 YER), while 21-karat gold per gram was recorded at 70,000 YER for sale.
Meanwhile, markets in Aden experienced a sharp decline, with the selling price of a gold sovereign plunging to 1,599,000 YER (a drop of 48,000 YER compared to last month), while the selling price of 21-karat gold per gram stabilized at 209,100 YER.
