Saudi Arabia accused of managing Aden through spread of chaos, terrorism

ABU DHABI, April 28 (YPA) – Military analyst Khaled al-Nissi, speaking on Tuesday, sharply criticized Saudi Arabia’s role in Aden and other areas under Riyadh-aligned control in southern and eastern Yemen.

In comments posted on the platform X, al-Nissi alleged that Saudi Arabia is managing these regions in a way that contributes to instability, accusing it of fostering conditions of insecurity and political disorder in pursuit of its strategic interests.

He further claimed that Riyadh is promoting contradictory narratives to different parties across both northern and southern Yemen, describing this as part of a broader pattern of misinformation.

Al-Nissi argued that current Saudi policies have contributed to deteriorating security conditions in Aden and surrounding areas, which he described as being vulnerable to extremist activity and organized chaos.

He concluded that reliance on Saudi policy, in his view, amounts to “a bet on uncertainty.”
