WASHINGTON, April 23 (YPA) – Elbit Systems announced it has won several contracts from the Israeli Ministry of Defense worth nearly $200 million to supply it with advanced air weapons.
The company, whose shares are traded on the Nasdaq and Tel Aviv Stock Exchange under the symbol ESLT, said these contracts strengthen its position in the field of air weapons and its ongoing cooperation with the Israeli defense establishment.
For its part, the Israeli Ministry of Defense issued multi-year purchase orders for air weapons, and the ministry explained that this deal comes within the framework of enhancing readiness to face direct combat scenarios and preparing for a decade of security challenges.
