Israeli reconnaissance drone shot down in Lebanon’s

BEIRUT, April 23 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Islamic resistance declared on Thursday that it shot down an Israeli occupation’s reconnaissance drone in the town of Majdal Zoun, the Tyre district of southern Lebanon

In a statement, the resistance affirmed that its fighters targeted a gathering of soldiers of the Israeli enemy army in the town of Taybah with appropriate weapons.

The statement affirmed that escalation came in defense of Lebanon and its people and in response to the Israeli enemy’s violation of the ceasefire by attacking civilians, and within the framework of the battle of the “eating storm”.

It reaffirmed that resistance would continue its operations in response to the escalation of the Israeli aggression since the second of last March, and the enemy’s continued violation of the ceasefire agreement.
