BEIRUT, April 23 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation admitted said on Thursday that 45 soldiers were injured over the past 48 hours in ongoing clashes in southern Lebanon, marking a new indication of intensified confrontations on the northern front.
The total number of casualties among its forces since the start of military operations in southern Lebanon has increased to 735, including 44 described as serious injuries and 100 moderate injuries, since the expansion of operations on March 2, the occupation forces said.
In the same context, the resistance’s military media quoted the deputy director of the “Rambam” Hospital in occupied Haifa as saying that the hospital received large numbers of wounded people suffering from injuries to the limbs as a result of the battles, pointing out that the scale of injuries recalls scenes from the first and Second Lebanon wars.
Meanwhile, the Islamic resistance in Lebanon continues its operations against the positions and gatherings of the Israeli army in southern Lebanon, as part of a response to the continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement.
