Al-Ejri: Netanyahu is trying to sabotage the Iran ceasefire deal

SANAA, April 09 (YPA) – Member of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Abdulmalik Al-Ejri, said on Wednesday that the current situation in the region clearly indicates that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to sabotage the Iran ceasefire deal.

In a post on the platform X, Al-Ejri said that what Israeli occupation is doing in Lebanon constitutes retaliatory destruction with no military or political objectives.

He said Hezbollah was the biggest surprise of the conflict, adding that despite Israeli claims of its destruction, it quickly returned with unexpected strength, upending Israeli calculations and shifting the balance of power on the ground.

Al-Ejri concluded by pointing to the state of confusion within the Israeli leadership, saying that the destruction was an attempt to cover up Netanyahu’s failure to achieve any tangible gains amid the resistance’s resilience.
