SANAA, Oct. 08 (YPA) – Sayyed Abdulmalek al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement, warned on Thursday the Saudi regime against becoming involved in its aggression against the Yemeni people.
In a speech on Thursday marking the anniversary of the Grand Hall massacre and addressing the latest developments, Sayyed al-Houthi stressed that any government or state that participates in it tarnishes its honor, brings shame upon itself and bears the sin of participating in the bloodshed of the Yemeni people.
He said participation in the killing of Yemenis is no minor matter. He described what he called Saudi injustice against the Yemeni people as one of the most egregious forms of injustice, adding that Yemen’s suffering is among the greatest cases of injustice in the world.
He stressed that involvement with the Saudi aggressor carries serious consequences, arguing that calculations divorced from Islamic principles are satanic calculations.
Sayyed al-Houthi urged some parties to draw lessons from the experience of former Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir and how his alignment with the United States and Saudi Arabia against the Yemeni people, without justification, ultimately led him into serious consequences.
He clarified political calculations and anticipated gains had proved to be mirages, stressing that anyone who entangles themselves with the Saudi aggressor harms themselves, their people and their country.
The movement’s leader emphasized that the Yemeni people are not a transient entity, but an authentic nation with a deep moral and values-based heritage and human dignity, and that they reject humiliation and subjugation to anyone other than Allah.
He called on every state and government to support the Palestinian people, stressing that the Palestinian cause is an unequivocal issue among peoples around the world.
