Al-Wahbi brigades commander: US forces suffer biggest military defeat since ‘World War II’

SANAA, April 09 (YPA) – The commander of the Al-Wahbi Brigades, Major General Bakil Saleh Al-Wahbi, stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has achieved a significant military and strategic victory over the United States and Israel.

In remarks to Yemen Press Agency, Al-Wahbi said Iran had “taken the world by surprise” through developments in its ballistic and cluster missile systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, military strategy, and highly precise intelligence capabilities, which he said upended enemies’ calculations.

He explained that Iran’s intelligence capabilities had advanced to the point of tracking US personnel and accurately identifying their operations rooms, even in hotels and fortified locations they had retreated to.

He added that Washington’s acceptance of Tehran’s terms came only after “harsh and painful strikes,” which he said were unlike anything US forces had experienced since World War II.

Al-Wahbi also reiterated that the Yemeni Armed Forces would not remain silent in the face of any Israeli aggression targeting Lebanon, Palestine, or Iran.

He stressed that Yemen’s position remains “firm and principled” in supporting its allies under the leadership of Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.

The commander urged those wagering on the defeat of the “axis of resistance” to free themselves from the blind subordination to the United States and “Israel”, and to stand alongside “free and honorable people” in defense of sovereignty and dignity.
