SANAA, Oct. 08 (YPA) – Saudi warplanes escalated their aggressive attacks on Yemeni provinces on Thursday, carrying out dozens of airstrikes that caused casualties and damage to property and infrastructure.
Security sources said that Hodeida International Airport was targeted in a Saudi airstrike, while six Saudi airstrikes struck telecommunications networks in Bayda city and the districts of Mukayras and Radaa in Bayda province.
In Ibb province, which came under dozens of airstrikes, the city of Yarim was hit by seven strikes, while five strikes targeted a telecommunications network in Al-Siyani district. Another strike hit Al-Khadraa Mountain in the same district.
The sources confirmed that three civilians were injured when Saudi warplanes targeted a main road in Al-Siyani district in Ibb.
On Wednesday, Saudi warplanes also carried out a deadly attack in Dhamar province that caused civilian casualties.
Dr. Anis Al-Asbahi, spokesman for the Sanaa-based Ministry of Health and Environment, affirmed that one civilian was killed and three others wounded in a Saudi airstrike on a fuel station in the Haran area of Dhamar province.
