Iran doubles missile firepower with deployment of dual-launch systems

TEHRAN, April 07 (YPA) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has officially deployed new dual-launch platforms for its “Fateh” and “Kheibar Shekan” missiles, signaling a strategic escalation in its tactical capabilities.

Brigadier General Majid Mousavi, commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, stated that the introduction of these launchers effectively doubles the impact of previous strikes (x2).

The announcement coincides with the 98th wave of operation “True Promise 4,” a combined aerospace and naval offensive targeting US and Israeli military and logistical infrastructure. Key operational highlights include:

  • Maritime Strike: The Israeli container ship SDN 7 was reportedly destroyed by a cruise missile, resulting in a major onboard fire.
  • US Asset Retreat: The US Navy’s amphibious assault ship LHA-7 was forced to withdraw toward the Indian Ocean following a guided missile attack.

These operations, executed under the direction of the “Khatam al-Anbiya” Central Headquarters, mark a significant pivot in the ongoing regional military confrontation.
