TEHRAN, March 29 (YPA) – Ebrahim Zolfaghari, the spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam Al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, warned on Sunday that former US President Donald Trump would turn American soldiers into “shark food” in the Gulf.
In a video statement, Zolfaghari described Trump as “lying and unbalanced,” accusing him of causing serious harm to the US, Europe, and the West Asian region.
He claimed that Trump’s reckless decisions put the US military “in the swamp of death,” noting that American soldiers are being ordered to endure while their leadership wavers between threats, negotiations, and war.
Zolfaghari added that Trump has become “a toy in the hands of the Zionist prime minister,” issuing threats against Iran under pressure from Mossad, and insisted that “the only language he understands is force.” He described US military commanders as “collapsed,” fleeing damaged bases to civilian and economic centers, which he said would remain legitimate targets.
He urged US commanders to study Iran’s history of resisting invaders rather than risking soldiers’ lives for Trump’s ambitions. Responding to Trump’s threats to occupy Iranian territory, Zolfaghari called them “pipe dreams,” asserting that Iranian forces are ready to crush the American army and ensure “humiliating defeat” for aggressors.
The warning comes amid rising doubts within US ranks, with soldiers expressing frustration and psychological strain, some declaring, “We do not want to die for Israel, and we do not want to be political tools,” reflecting a growing loss of confidence in the war’s objectives.
