Two Lebanese paramedics after Israeli strikes

BEIRUT, March 29 (YPA) – Two Lebanese paramedics were killed and several others injured on Sunday following Israeli occupation’s airstrikes near Bint Jbeil Hospital in the southern city of Bint Jbeil.

Lebanon’s National News Agency reported an airstrike targeted a house in the southern town of Aba, completely destroying it. Another strike was also carried out on the town of Khiam in southern Lebanon.

The escalation came amid continued attacks on ambulance and rescue teams. A number of paramedics were killed a day earlier in strikes on the eastern Zoutir road and in Kafr Tanit.

Another paramedic was also killed while attempting to assist the slain journalists Ali Shoaib and Fatima Fatoni, along with her brother, photojournalist Abbas Fatoni, on the Kfarhouna–Jezzine road.

These developments highlighted ongoing Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon, which have increasingly affected medical and humanitarian personnel, alongside intensified raids on civilian and service-related areas.
