Two Palestinians killed, 10 injured in Israeli drone strike on vehicle in southern Gaza

GAZA, March 17 (YPA) – At least two Palestinians were killed and ten others wounded in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a vehicle in the Mawasi area of ​​Khan Younis.

Palestinian sources reported that the bodies of two slain Palestinians and the wounded were admitted to the Mawasi field hospital operated by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, where the injured are receiving first aid and medical treatment.

Since the ceasefire agreement went into effect at noon on 10 October 2025, the occupation forces have killed 672 Palestinians and injured 1,779 others. The bodies of 756 Palestinians have been retrieved over the same period.

Israeli occupation has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 72,247 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 171,878 others.

Thousands of victims remain trapped under collapsed buildings or on the streets. However, emergency responders are struggling to reach them due to a lack of essential equipment for debris removal and rescue operations.
