BEIRUT, March 17 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, said it conducted multiple operations early Tuesday, firing rockets and artillery at Israeli military positions and troop concentrations along the border.
In a series of statements released on March 17, 2026, the group detailed four consecutive strikes carried out in defense of Lebanese territory and its people, amidst the ongoing Israeli aggression against the country.
The operations unfolded in the early hours of Monday as follows:
At 00:45, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance targeted a gathering of “israeli” enemy army soldiers in Jdeideh Mays al-Jabal with a rocket barrage.
At 00:45, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of the “Israeli” enemy army soldiers south of the border town of Maroun Al-Ras with a rocket barrage.
At 01:45, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a Merkava tank in the Taybeh project with a guided missile. The enemy rushed to withdraw its casualties under heavy smoke cover, so the fighters engaged it with artillery shells and a rocket barrage.
At 2:00 AM, the Islamic Resistance fighters again targeted a second Merkava tank in the Mashrou’ Al-Taybeh area with a guided missile, hitting it directly, bringing the number of targeted tanks to 5 since last night.
At 12:30 AM, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of “Israeli” enemy soldiers at the Al-Assi site opposite the town of Meiss El Jabal with a rocket barrage
At 01:45, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of “Israeli” enemy army soldiers on Al-Hamames hill south of the city of Khiam with a rocket barrage .
At 03:00, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of “Israeli” enemy soldiers in the settlement of “Misgav Am” with a rocket barrage.
