Iran warns of painful retaliation against US, Israeli entity

TEHRAN, March 12 (YPA) – Iran has vowed a painful response to the United States following a military warning for citizens in the Gulf and surrounding regions to steer clear of certain areas.

Spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Ebrahim Zolfaghari, urged residents in regional countries to maintain at least a one-kilometer distance from bank branches and financial institutions.

According to Tasnim News Agency, the spokesperson stated that the U.S. “terrorist army” and the Zionist regime struck an Iranian bank branch on Tuesday evening after failing to achieve military objectives. This, the spokesperson said, opens the door for Iran to target economic centers and banks linked to the Americans and Zionists in the region.

The Iranian official also warned that the U.S. must expect a painful response.
