Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi congratulates Iran to select Mojtaba Khamenei as new leader

SANAA, March 09 (YPA) – Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen Ansarullah movement, sent on Monday a cable of congratulations to the Iranian people, state institutions, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on the selection of Mojtaba Khamenei as the third leader of the revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In a statement, he said that achieving this milestone under current circumstances strengthens the stability of the Islamic system and represents a blow to Iran’s adversaries, noting that the selection of the new leadership helps ease the impact of the loss of former leader Ali Khamenei.

Sayyed Al-Houthi also reiterated Yemen’s support for Iran in confronting the American and Israeli aggression, adding that the resilience of the Iranian people and the continued functioning of state institutions indicate the failure of their opponents’ objectives.
