Gaza Health Ministry: 72,133 martyrs, 171,826 wounded since October 7, 2023

GAZA, March 09 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that the death toll from the Israeli offensive has risen to 72,133 martyrs and 171,826 wounded since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report on the victims resulting from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip, the ministry stated that hospitals received seven new martyrs and 14 wounded in the past 24 hours.

It revealed that since the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of martyrs killed by enemy fire has reached 648, the total number of wounded is 1,728, and the total number of martyrs whose bodies have been recovered is 755.

The ministry noted that a large number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them.
