Sanaa denies Saudi claims of launching drone toward Mecca

SANAA, Oct. 31 (YPA) – The Yemeni Armed Forces (Sanaa forces) on Friday categorically denied conducting any military operations targeting the Saudi interior, dismissing Riyadh’s claim that it intercepted an unidentified drone over Mecca’s airspace as a massive and egregious fabrication.

In a statement, military spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree affirmed that operations carried out by Yemeni forces exclusively target military installations and critical energy infrastructure within Saudi Arabia.

تؤكد القوات المسلحة اليمنية أنها لم تنفذ اليوم أي عملية باتجاه العمق السعودي وأن ما يدعيه العدو السعودي باعتراض مسيرة في أجواء مكة المكرمة بهتان عظيم وكبير، فعملياتنا تستهدف منشآته النفطية وقواعده العسكرية ولم يعد هناك أحد في هذا العالم يصدق هذه الافتراءات والأكاذيب التى يروج لها نظام آل سعود المجرم.
