Saudi military reinforcements reach Aden amid tensions with STC supporters 

ADEN, Feb. 27 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia has deployed new military reinforcements from the “Nation’s Shield” (Dir Al-Watan) forces to Aden. The deployment includes armored vehicles and military units that have begun stationed at key entrances and main streets throughout the city.

This move comes ahead of planned demonstrations by Southern Transitional Council (STC) supporters scheduled for Friday. The protests are in response to the presence of Saudi forces and the closure of STC offices in the city. According to observers, this mobilization aims to:

• Secure Vital Sites: Specifically to prevent protesters from approaching sensitive areas, such as the Maasheeq Palace.

• Maintain Control: To ensure demonstrations do not escalate, following threats by STC activists to relocate their protests to the Saudi military headquarters.
