OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Feb. 08 (YPA) – Former Zionist Security Minister Yoav Gallant revealed shocking details regarding wartime decision-making during a television interview on Saturday evening.
Gallant accused Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of misleading the public and deliberately inciting against the military leadership.
He emphasized that a severe shortage of ammunition was the “real reason” behind delaying the Rafah operation, contrary to Netanyahu’s claims of military hesitation.
Gallant explained that despite being aware of logistical obstacles, Netanyahu informed ministers outside the “Inner Cabinet” that Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi and top officers were “afraid to enter Rafah.”
According to Gallant, this was done to deflect blame and portray the military leadership as lacking courage to hide the equipment shortages.
These remarks further heighten the political tension and raise serious questions about the relationship between the political and military decision-making.
