OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Feb. 04 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested one of the guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the occupation forces arrested Abdul Rahman Al-Sharif, who works as a guard at Al-Aqsa, after raiding his home in occupied Jerusalem.
Last night, the occupation forces and their intelligence services stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, preventing movement in its courtyard, detaining the mosque’s guards, and storming and searching the Marwani Prayer Hall.
In addition, the occupation forces also searched a storage room belonging to the cleaning staff.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is being subjected to an unprecedented campaign of restrictions before the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, whereas occupation forces have expelled dozens of Jerusalemites, while the mosque’s guards and employees of the Waqf Department have been subjected to a series of restrictions, including arrest, detention, expulsion, and detention.
