GAZA, Jan. 28 (YPA) – The Hebrew 14 Channel claimed that the Chief of Staff, Eyal Zamir approved three scenarios of a comprehensive military plan for the Southern Command, aimed at decisively winning the battle in the Gaza Strip, in implementation of directives from the political echelon, focusing on areas that the forces have not yet entered.
The Israeli occupation continues to promote a number of decisions by the occupation government, ignoring what was agreed upon between Trump, the Arab guarantor states, and the Palestinian people, despite the establishment of the international peace council and the approval of a technocratic government to administer Gaza.
The three scenarios proposed by the occupation include a comprehensive political agreement to dismantle the movement, with a timeframe that may not exceed two months.
The second one is a limited military operation to increase pressure without a complete resolution, while the third scenario is a complete occupation of the Strip and a military resolution with the imposition of a temporary military administration or international rule.
The Israeli assessments clarified that even in the case of an international solution, imposing a temporary military rule at the beginning is
almost inevitable to ensure security control.
Meanwhile, sources indicated that the plan was modified after the Minister of Defense resolved internal disputes in favor of his vision.
In addition, he explained that the motives for expanding the plan were the absence of hostages in Gaza, according to the report, and the lack of current international or field restrictions on the use of١ military force.
It is noted that the occupation’s leaks are intended to exert more pressure on Hamas and resistance to surrender their weapons, amidst efforts to begin the work of the technocratic government and open Rafah crossing.
