Gaza Health Ministry: Death toll reaches 71,667 due to ongoing Israeli aggression

GAZA, Jan. 28 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Wednesday that the cumulative death toll of the Israeli genocide in the Strip has risen to 71,667 martyrs, with 171,343 wounded since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report, Gaza Health officials stated that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 5 martyrs—including 4 new martyrs and one recovered body—and 6 wounded during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry stated, “A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them up to this moment.”

It also revealed that the toll of victims since the ceasefire on (October 11) has reached 492 martyrs and 1,356 injured, in addition to the recovery of the bodies of 715 martyrs.
