GAZA, Jan. 27 (YPA) -Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire for the 109th consecutive day in the Gaza Strip, amid the demolition of homes and civilian structures.
According to Palestinian sources, this morning, Israeli warplanes carried out several airstrikes on the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli helicopters also fired east of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, while artillery shelling and gunfire were reported east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Israeli naval vessels opened fire off the southern coast of Gaza.
On Monday, Israeli forces intensified artillery strikes on eastern areas, which cover around 58% of the Gaza Strip, hitting Khan Younis in the south, Deir al-Balah in the central governorate, and the Al-Bureij camp.
Palestinian authorities said that in the past 24 hours, more than 20 ceasefire violations were recorded, resulting in the deaths of three civilians and injuries to approximately seven others.
