WASHINGTON, Dec. 30 (YPA) – Hebrew media reported on Tuesday that US President Donald Trump informed the Prime Minister of Israeli occupation about the timing of the “day after” plan for Gaza.
According to a political source quoted by Israel Hayom, Trump told Netanyahu that his plan for the “day after” in Gaza would be announced on 15 January 2026.
The report added that “Israel” would be forced to make concessions regarding Gaza, including opening the Rafah crossing in both directions.
The newspaper also reported that Trump informed Netanyahu that a civil governance body, a “technocratic government,” would be established in the coming weeks to assume authority from Hamas.
Meanwhile, Axios reported that Netanyahu agreed to move forward with the second phase of the Gaza agreement despite disagreements with Trump’s team over implementation mechanisms.
