Euro-Med rights group: US support for “Israel” puts Gaza civilians at risk

GAZA, Dec. 25 (YPA) -The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor accused the United States of supporting “Israel”, enabling it to violate Palestinian rights and continue committing crimes against them.

In a post on the “X” platform today, Thursday, the Monitor said that “the American cover granted to “Israel” is practically translated into exposing civilians in the Gaza Strip to the risk of death under coercive living conditions.”

It added: “During the month of December alone, about 18 Palestinian civilians died as a result of the recent winter storm, including five children who died from exposure to the cold.”

With American and European support, the Israeli occupation army has continued to commit crimes of genocide, siege, and starvation in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the killing of 70,942 Palestinian civilians, mostly children and women, and injuring another 171,195 to date, in an unfinalized toll, as thousands of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, unreachable by ambulance and rescue teams.
