Israeli occupation forces demolish two Palestinian homes near Al-Quds

QUDS, Dec. 24 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces demolished on Wednesday two Palestinian homes in the Jabal al-Mukaber neighborhood, southeast of occupied city of Al-Quds (Jerusalem).

Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces, accompanied by heavy machinery, stormed the al-Sal’a area of ​​the neighborhood and began demolishing two homes belonging to brothers Mahmoud and Wasim Mashahra.

Mahmoud’s home, measuring approximately 45 square meters, housed four family members, while his brother Wisam’s home sheltered five people.

The Jerusalem Governorate documented 27 demolition and leveling operations in November. Five cases involved Palestinians being forced to demolish their own homes and structures under threat of heavy fines, while 21 demolitions were carried out by Israeli municipal machinery and forces. Additionally, one leveling operation targeted land in Al-Quds.
