Hind Rajab Foundation calls for arrest of Israeli officials accused of war crimes

BRUSSELS, Dec. 04 (YPA) – Hind Rajab Foundation, in collaboration with Canadian lawyers for Human Rights and the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, has submitted an official memorandum demanding the arrest of former Israeli occupation’s Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and former Foreign Minister Tzvi Livni.

The memorandum came against the background of the two of them committing war crimes against the Palestinian people and leading the 2008-2009 aggression on the Gaza Strip, which resulted in thousands of victims and widespread destruction of civilian infrastructure.

The memorandum also emphasizes Olmert and Livni’s legal and moral responsibility for the violations committed in the Strip.

It called on the international community and the competent courts to take action to hold them accountable in accordance with international law.
