OCCUPIED QUDS, Nov. 14 (YPA) – Knesset Member Tzvi Sukkot from the “Religious Zionism” party has submitted a new bill calling for the application of Israeli sovereignty and Israeli law over the entire Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, West Bank, and placing it under full Israeli administration.
The bill, signed by dozens of members of Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition, demands that the authority and administration over the entire area of the Ibrahimi Mosque, including the “Isaac Hall,” be transferred to the “Kiryat Arba” settlement council.
The bill’s explanation states that its goal is to “remove restrictions imposed on Jews and restore its historical status as an open, accessible, and free center of prayer for the Jewish people.”
This move comes amid the imposed partition of the shrine since the 1994 massacre, where 63% was allocated to Jews and 37% to Muslims, followed by continuous stages of Judaization.
