Meteorology Center warns of extremely cold weather, offers advice to citizens, farmers

SANAA, Nov. 12 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning issued a warning on Wednesday regarding the continuation of cold to severely cold weather during evening and early morning hours across several Yemeni governorates and mountainous highlands.

The center urged citizens, particularly the elderly, children, and workers in open areas, to take necessary precautions to protect themselves from the impact of cold weather.

The center also advised farmers in the mountainous regions, including the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, and highlands of Lahj, Dhalea, Ibb, and western Jawf) to implement the required measures to safeguard their crops against frost.
