Russian air defenses down 44 Ukrainian drones overnight

MOSCOW, Nov. 09 (YPA) – Russia’s Ministry of Defense announced the downing of 44 Ukrainian drones in the country’s airspace during the past night, according to the Russian channel RT.

“Air defense alert systems intercepted and destroyed 44 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles: 43 UAVs over the territory of the Bryansk region and 1 UAV over the territory of the Rostov region,” the ministry said in a statement.
