Gaza hospitals get 57 martyrs, 158 wounded in fresh Israeli aggression

GAZA, Oct. 20 (YPA) – The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 68,216 martyrs, in addition to 170,361 wounded.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza said that hospitals in the Strip received 57 martyrs and 158 injured people in the past 24 hours, including four martyrs and 57 injured food aid seekers.

It stated, “A number of victims are trapped under the rubble of destroying buildings and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them at this time.”

The ministry stated that the death toll since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, has reached 80 martyrs and 203 injured, while 226 bodies have been recovered.
