Sanaa forces’ Chief of Staff vows retaliation for civilian targeting, affirms continued support for Gaza

SANAA, Aug. 30 (YPA) – Major General Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari, Chief of the General Staff of the Sanaa forces, has declared that “Israel’s targeting of civilian neighborhoods in the capital, Sanaa, will not go unpunished.”

In a statement to the official Yemen News Agency (Saba), Al-Ghamari reiterated that Yemen would not back down from supporting the Gaza Strip “regardless of the extent of the targeting or sacrifice.”

Al-Ghamari described the Israeli escalation in Gaza and Yemen as “proof of their inability and failure” to achieve their goals, emphasizing that it would be met with “escalation.”

The chief of staff praised the historic resilience of the people of Gaza and the heroic resistance fighters. He also saluted the loyal and steadfast Yemeni masses who have come out in millions for two years without faltering.
