Ansarullah Political Bureau backs Yemeni military strikes on Saudi-linked build-ups

SANAA, Aug. 07 (YPA) – Ansarullah’s Political Bureau on Friday expressed support for Yemeni armed forces’ precision military operations targeting Saudi-linked military build-ups.

In a statement, the bureau said the strikes were a preemptive measure aimed at thwarting Saudi preparations for further military action against Yemen, describing them as part of Yemen’s legitimate right to respond after years of conflict and blockade.

The statement added that the mobilization of Saudi-backed forces followed publicly announced meetings with Saudi military officials and was carried out under Saudi direction and support.

The bureau said Saudi Arabia would not benefit from attempts to evade Yemen’s demands, insisting that Sanaa remains committed to lifting the blockade and reclaiming the country’s resources.

It also said the Yemeni armed forces are fully prepared to confront any further Saudi military escalation.

Addressing domestic issues, the statement accused Saudi Arabia of seeking to recruit residents of Yemen’s southern and eastern provinces to fight on its behalf, urging them not to join Saudi-backed military efforts.

The bureau added that Sanaa’s dispute is with the Saudi government rather than the people of Yemen’s southern and eastern governorates, describing its objective as securing the rights of all Yemenis and ending their suffering.
