SANAA, July 13 (YPA) – Protest marches were staged in European cities denouncing the ongoing genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, demanding a ceasefire and the entry of aid into the besieged Strip.
A popular march was organized in Milan, Italy, and took to the streets of the city, demanding the severance of all political and economic ties with the Israeli occupation in protest against the war in Gaza.
Hundreds of participants raised Palestinian flags and chanted slogans calling for the cancellation of existing agreements and partnerships between the Italian government and the occupation.
A demonstration also took place in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, in support of Gaza and against the ongoing genocide the Zionist occupation government’s perpetrating against the population of the Strip.
Protesters called on their government and the international community to punish the occupation and force it to stop killing defenseless civilians and using starvation as a weapon.
They also called on the international community to pressure the Zionist occupation to end its policies of ethnic cleansing and forced displacement of Palestinians.
In Berlin, activists and supporters of the Palestinian cause held a protest rally demanding an end to the genocidal war and Israeli attacks on civilians in the Gaza Strip.
They called for stopping German arms exports, emphasizing the need for Germany and the international community to shoulder their legal and moral responsibility to put an end to war crimes in Gaza.
In Britain, police arrested almost 40 people who participated in a protest in front of the British Parliament in London.
The protesters demanded ending the Zionist war on Gaza, expressed their rejection of genocide against civilians.
